GDPR - How we handle your personal data
On 25th May 2018, the new law on storage of personal data came into force. Your privacy is very important to us at El-Kretsen, and needless to say, we conform to the new regulations.
Why does El-Kretsen AB collect personal data?
When you enter into an agreement with us, we collect the personal data we require to be able to carry out our part of the agreement. Other forms of contact with us can also lead to information about you being collected, for example when you visit our contracted facilities, when you take part in one of our conferences or when you sign up for our newsletter. Examples of data we require for these purposes are company name, name of contact person, email address and telephone number.
How long do we keep your data?
We only keep your personal data as long as we need it to be able to fulfil our part of any agreement you have entered into with us. We may also need to retain records of certain data for a longer period of time for legal reasons, such as in order to comply with accounting laws.
Who do we share your data with?
We only share your personal data with the subcontractors who carry out services on our behalf.
Your data is protected
We have taken the security measures necessary to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration and deletion, and we are constantly working on updating our security routines and measures to make sure your personal information remains safe and uncompromised.
You have the right to request an extract from our data register in order to make sure your personal data is dealt with correctly. You also have the right to tell us to delete the data we have on you or object to the way we handle your data (if, for example, any information we have about you is incorrect). We have the right to refuse to comply with your request if there are legal requirements or similar that prevent us from deleting or altering your information. For more information on our personal data policy, please go to Our Personal Data Policy.
If you have any questions about how we handle your personal data, or if you wish to request an extract from our data register, have us delete your data, make a correction or limit the extent of our handling of your data, please email us at email@example.com, stating as clearly as possible what it is you wish us to do.
