Håll Sverige Rent (eng. “Keep Sweden Tidy Foundation”) is a non-profit foundation, formed by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and Returpack, which works to strengthen people’s environmental awareness, prevent littering and promote recycling.

This is what Håll Sverige Rent does to stop the littering:

• Working to change people’s behavior and strengthen the norm that littering is not okay.
• Collects the latest knowledge about littering through measurements, surveys, business collaborations and contacts with the research world.
• Develops concrete tools for municipalities, schools, companies, politicians and other social actors so that they can contribute to reducing littering.
• Talks about the consequences of littering and communicates clear messages about why it is important not to litter.
• Creates opportunities for people to get involved against litter. In this way, the feeling is strengthened that together it is possible to make a difference.
