Producer responsibility for packaging, batteries and WEEE in one place

In collaboration with El-Kretsen’s European umbrella organisation PRONEXA (formerly WEEE Europe), we can now offer producers to manage their producer responsibilities for packaging, batteries and WEEE in one place.

In 2014, El-Kretsen, in collaboration with other European PROs, started the joint company WEEE Europe. The aim was to create one contact area and one declaration site for electronics and battery producers who were active in several different countries. The offer of a European one-stop-shop solution is popular and demand is continuously increasing even in other product areas. One such demand is the ability to declare packaging, in Sweden and all other European countries. PRONEXA has taken note of this request and can now offer guidance and management of legislation and agreements for the practical declarations for packaging also. In connection with this, WEEE Europe has changed its name to PRONEXA.

It also doesn’t matter if you operate in one or all countries within Europe. PRONEXA has an overview of legislation and how to most effectively manage your producer responsibilities in each country, and they have a declaration portal where you as a producer can manage your producer responsibilities for the countries you operate in and for packaging, batteries and WEEE.
