El-Kretsen is today a world-class producer responsibility organization (PRO). For us, sustainability is the very foundation of our operations – the guiding principle behind every decision and action we take.

For El-Kretsen, sustainability is not a side matter – it is the foundation of our operations and the basis on which everything rests. Our task is to take producers responsibility for collection and recycling and turn it into an efficient, nationwide system that ensures resources are used more intelligently and that environmentally hazardous substances are handled safely. Through collaboration with producers, municipalities, and recycling operators, we enable more materials to be returned as new raw materials. In this way, sustainability is not just something we report – it is what we deliver, here and now, as part of developing the circular society of the future.
