Today is International E-Waste Day!

Today, October 14th, is one of the most important themed days in our industry: International E-Waste Day. This year, the focus is on critical raw materials, and how “critically” important it is to recycle all smartphones, electric scooters, electric cars, solar panels, etc. – yes, all electronics that rely on these types of raw materials to function.

IEWD is an initiative of the WEEE Forum, where over 70 organisations worldwide collaborate to highlight challenges and solutions around electronic waste. #ewasteday

During September and October, El-Kretsen has posted informational videos, short clips and infographics about the various critical raw materials on our social media to draw attention to the topic.
