What does the collection look like in your Swedish municipality?

Now the Swedish municipal statistics for 2025 are here. At Kunskapsrummet.se you can compare the collection of electrical waste and batteries in your municipality with the average for all of Sweden.

In 2025, El-Kretsen has collected 151,000 tons of electrical appliances and batteries. Of this, 73% can be converted into new material and returned to the cycle.

The differences between different municipalities can be large, but in many cases are due to people moving between municipal borders when they go to drop off their electronic waste.
